  On July 20, 1969, Apollo 11 carried the first humans to the moon. Six hours after landing on the moon, American Neil Armstrong stepped onto the lunar surface. He spent two and a half hours outside the spacecraft.  Buzz Aldrin soon followed, stepping onto the lunar surface. After joining Armstrong, the two men collected 47.5 pounds of lunar material.

  On 19th July of 1955, popular Indian Cricketer Roger Binny was born in Bangalore, Karnataka. He was a renowned cricket all-rounder who is especially remembered for his marvelous  bowling performance in the 1983 Cricket World Cup, where India got victory against   the West Indies. Roger Binny was a right handed batsman and a right arm medium bowler.  Roger Binny was the highest wicket taker in the 1983 World Cup taking all total 18 wickets. He also repeated such exemplary performance in the 1985 World Series Cricket Championship by taking 17 wickets.
